Mixing High with Low
Mixing high and low-cost accessories is not rocket science. This Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Melrose Amarante is a classic-shaped tote that I mixed with casual apparel. Note the beaded bib which costs PHP 1,000 – I can wear it day to night. Couture head-to-toe is harsh – keep it safe by also using finds from vintage shops and flea markets.
Celine crazed..
Having just return from Singapore being put on a waiting list for Celine Mini Luggage bag, I was looking forward to my trip and to visit the only Celine store in Omotesando, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Tokyo.
Surprisingly, I walked into the store to see only two Mini luggage displayed on the store shelves, not so prominently.
Since I wasn’t on a “VIP list”, I had to beg my SA to bring out all the colors and bags available. Much to my pleasant surprise, they paraded all the bags in different colors for me to try on including this one and only crocodile they have in all of Japan worth $45,000.00.
Bewildered and confused, I didn’t know which one to choose.
After a long internal debate, I decided to buy this limited edition Pony hair in olive, which i’m loving now, and one micro luggage in orange.

Kobe induced euphoria..
We’ve all heard of, or experienced the melt-in-your-mouth goodness of Kobe beef. But it isn’t nearly complete without the company of Chef Akihiro Takemura at Kawamura restaurant in the heart of Ginza, Tokyo.
Chef Takemura-san was ultra gracious in describing every aspect of Kobe beef lore in great detail and in excellent english!
I had the luck and privilege to have a serving of this year’s 2nd champion Kobe winner, knowing that there were only 2 Kobe champions awarded this year.This gastronomical pleasure was well worth the $300 I paid for all 120 grams.
It was one of the best dinning experiences I’ve ever had in Tokyo.
Vintage Rolls Royce
This is a 1930’s Rolls Royce owned by a guest. Park outside The Peninsula in Tokyo where we stayed. Would you believe its still working and currently being used by one of the guest. Does anyone know how many Rolls Royce we have in the Philippines?

Children rule in Disneyworld Tokyo with the fanciest and eye-catching outfits that are as fun as the rides you will find in this park. Even with the absence of a party, these children took time to dress-up to match the fun atmosphere of Disney, with some girls wearing princess gowns and Snow White costumes. Absolutely gorgeous creatures.
The adults were also game enough with one group all dressed in polka-dot skirts with Minnie Mouse headgear, while two ladies reminded me of Carrie Bradshaw in a tutu in the opening scene of Sex and The City .
Disney Tokyo, more than the Disney characters, is also full of edgy and fun Japanese who just want to let their hair down in fashion. Make sure you bring your camera and shoot!
